Shipping policy

Currently, we mainly focus on orders within Europe. Please contact us for a shipping quote if it's not available during the checkout. We will update it for your country as soon as possible.

Shipping costs are estimated by our shipping company. Any overages after shipping supplies, shipping cost and export expenses will be refunded to your method of payment. Refunds on shipping costs are at the discretion of Violet View Art and are not guaranteed.

Free shipping for orders over 750 euro does not include extra insurance. If the free shipping threshold is not met with items from Violet View Art, you will be invoiced for shipping costs and payment is required within 12 hours, failure to do so will result in a cancelled order.

Violet View Art is located in Wouwse Plantage, Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands.  PICKUP is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Any orders not picked up within 14 days of pickup notification will be subject to a 35% restocking fee deducted from the refund total.

Shipping Times: Please note that due to Covid-19 these dates cannot be guaranteed. These are approximate shipping time estimations provided to us by Post.

the Netherlands: 5-20 business days

Europe : 5-30 business days

International : 14-80 business days

Any orders with miscalculated rates at checkout will be subject to an additional fee. You will be sent an second invoice just to cover the additional postage for your order. This invoice needs to be paid before the work on your order begins.

Shipping & Handling

Please allow 4-15 business days for items to be packaged and shipped. Some items may take longer if additional packaging needs to be purchased, as we are located in a very small studio and do not always have specialty shipping vessels on hand.

For international delivery, please allow 14-30 business days for items to be packaged and shipped as additional packaging materials will need to be purchased.

All purchases will be shipped via Post NL, DPD, DHL  ort via another company at the discretion of Violet View Art.
International Orders will be charged best rate postal charges. You will be sent a second invoice just to covered the additional postage for your order if applicable.

Please note, all international packages will include customs information located on the parcel and may be subject to duties and taxes.  These are established by your local customs authorities. Violet View Art is not responsible for these costs. Please visit your local customs authorities website for more information. 

  • .Lost - stuck in transit

Domestic: The issue must be filed between 7 and 30 days from the last shipping update. 

International: The issue must be filed between 20 and 30 days from the last shipping update. 

  • Stolen - marked as delivered

The issue must be filed between 5 and 15 days from when the order was marked delivered. 

Stolen orders over 100 euro require a police report. 

  • Damaged

The issue must be filed with photos of the damaged package and item(s), no later than 15 days from when the order was marked delivered.

Delivery dates are not guaranteed for reasons out of our control. Once your product has been shipped, we are no longer responsible for the handling of your product. Violet View Art is not responsible for any packages lost, stolen or damaged in transit.

Please be sure that all information provided is CORRECT. Violet View Art is not responsible for shipments that are not able to be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information. If package is non-deliverable to address provided to us, it will be shipped back to us or destroyed based on return shipping costs.

If a package is returned to us, customer is responsible for paying return to sender fee as well as re-shipment cost. If package is destroyed due to non-claim by customer, customer must re-purchase item.
